Wicked

WICKED, the West End and Broadway musical sensation, is already the 9th longest running musical in London theatre history. Winner of over 100 major awards, including three Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and ten theatregoer-voted WhatsOnStage Awards (winning ‘Best West End Show’ on three separate occasions), the classic musical has now been seen by almost 10 million people in London alone.

‘Packed with wit, storming songs and beautiful costumes’ (The Guardian), WICKED imagines an ingenious backstory and future possibilities to the lives of L. Frank Baum’s beloved characters from ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ and reveals the decisions and events that shape the destinies of two unlikely University friends on their journey to becomingGlinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Me and my friend came to watch wicked with her two daughter 11 and 4 and we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the show. The 4 year old loved the witch. The Defying Gravity song was amazing. We couldn't pick one single part as every part was breathtaking and amazing. We loved everything about it.

  • It's Wicked

    15 July 2019

Bit pointless reviewing a long running hit, but it was really good, amazing sets, choreography and acting. I can't remember a single song, but the microphones do tend to distort a little, going to buy the book, think that says it all really.

  • Very disappointing

    14 July 2019

Although the visual affects, costumes, stage scenery and dance routines were very good, I felt the show had no real story line that gripped me at all. The singing was mainly shouting and I could not understand any words that the actors sang or spoke. I am afraid my husband felt the same and we left at the interval. As for the bar I thought £19.80 for a gin & tonic, bottle of Birra Morella and chocolate buttons was extortionate.
