Such an incredible musical! The story of a city and the changes over three generations told in a powerful, affecting set of characters using the stage space in an innovative and interesting way. I understand part of Britain’s story in a way I haven’t before.

This was a most extraordinay show mesmerising - extraordinary - amazing and engaging. I think this is a show that you need to see again to get the full force of the message and I certainly will. The music was such a majical enhancement to the story and all in all the talents of this production were second to none.

We accepted the bad language for a while as the music was lively and the story started in an ok way . But all deteriated in both the storyline and language and we left early after everything becoming even worse as it continued ! Sorry but only one star for this !

This was an excellent and moving performance. It gave a wonderful insight into the lives of a generation of families in a Sheffield housing estate. The acting and singing were superb, as was the orchestra. Richard Hawley's music adds soul and is central throughout. It truly is a love letter to Sheffield and a real triumph. A wonderful musical.

I'm a fan of Richard Hawley so chose to see this show, I wasnt disappointed it was brilliant. Great characters, story lines that were interwoven within a single stage set. It was moving, fast paced and authentic.

I am sure the whole audience were from Sheffield! What a great way to reflect on some of the darkest and happier memories of my home city. Even my son who went to Uni in Sheffield was moved by this tribute. Hawley’s music was a beautiful bow wrapped around this whole performance. Thank you Sheffield.

This show was totally unique in the way it jumped from family to family and year to year. The set was different too as you could see the (excellent) musicians on two levels The actors were outstanding and their singing was brilliant Highly recommended
